Abstract

考 古 学 在 世 界 范 围 内 主 要 分 为 历 史 学 和 人 类 学 两 大 传 统 ， 考古学与历史学 、 人 类 学 的 关 系 ， 更 是 长 期 以 来 考 古 学 科 定 位 的 讨 论 核 心 。 相 较 于 中 国 大 陆 历 史 学 色 彩 浓 厚 的 考 古 学 范 式 ， 台 湾 地 区 的 考 古 学 发 展 ， 由 于 复 杂 的 历 史 原 因 、 多 元 的 理 论 融 合 和 特 殊 的 出 土 材 料 ， 呈 现 人 类 学 取 向 的 学 术 生 态 。 本 文 借 由 学 术 史 梳 理 和 教 育 现 场 的 观 察 ， 讨 论 考 古 学 教 育 如 何 受 到 学 术 思 潮 与 社 会 背 景 的 影 响 ， 并 反 过 来 形 塑 考 古 学 的 知 识 体 系 ， 以 台 湾 为 例 呈 现 人 类 学 范 式 下 的 考 古 学 研 究 特 色 。 在 台 湾 考 古 教 育 发 展 百 年 来 的 不 同 阶 段 中 ， 人 类 学 发 挥 了 巨 大 的 影 响 ， 直 至 今 日 ， 置 于 人 类 学 范 畴 下 的 台 湾 考 古 学 ， 在 考 古 学 教 育 的 知 识 结 构 、 授 课 方 式 和 公 众 宣 导 等 方 面 ， 反 映 出 重 视 理 论 思 维 、 科 学 方 法 、 比 较 视 野 与 伦 理 关 怀 的 人 类 学 特 色 ， 但 也 不 可 避 免 地 存 在 些 许 结 构 缺 陷 和 现 实 难 题 。 未 来 ， 探 索 更 好 的 考 古 教 育 方 式 、 开 拓 考 古 学 的 研 究 视 野 ， 应 该 要 兼 容 两 岸 各 自 的 特 色 和 长 处 ， 并 在 此 基 础 上 齐 心 协 力 面 对 现 实 挑 战 ， 这 亟 待 两 岸 考 古 人 共 同 钻 研 和 实 践 。 关 键 词 ： 台 湾 考 古 ； 考 古 学 史 ； 考 古 学 教 育 ； 人 类 学 / From a global perspective, two alternatives to archaeology exist, historically oriented or anthropologically ori-ented. What kind of relationship archaeology should have with history and anthropology, has been debated for long.Instead of the strong historiographical tradition in Mainland China, archaeology in Taiwan shares a closer bond with anthropology under various waves of theoretical impacts, partly because of complex historical factors and partly decided by the characteristics of local archaeological data. Based on the academic history and personal field observation, this article discusses how academic paradigms and social backgrounds affect the education of archaeology, and how educa-tion constructs the knowledge system in return. Taiwan is introduced as a case of anthropological archaeology, where archaeology has remained as a subfield of anthropology until today. Multiple anthropological concerns, such as theoret-ical and scientific interests, comparative perspectives, and ethical awareness are emphasized in educational practices,leading to its unique training framework, lecture styles, and public outreaches. However, some structural defects and practical problems also exist. Further dialogues between the two archaeological alternatives are encouraged for better research and education. Collaborative works of scholars across the Straits are required as well to tackle challenges hand in hand.
