Abstract
A datacenter network that supports programmable optical and multi-layer service chaining by adopting miniaturized reconfigurable optical backplanes and FPGAs is demonstrated. The end-to-end testbed delivers hitless on-chip service chain switch-over, 9.8G throughput and sub-microsecond latency.
