Abstract

Abstract: The presentation evaluates the performance of UCL Library Services against the 2011-14 Library Strategy. It then looks at the international strategic context for developing a Library Strategy for the period 2015-18. The main part of the presentation looks at the 6 Key Performance Areas identified for the 2015-18 Strategy and identifies key achievements in each area: 1. Student Experience 2. Staffing, Equality and Diversity 3. Finance, Management Information, Value for Money 4. Systems and Processes 5. Sustainable Estate 6. Communications, Outreach and Open Access The conclusion of the presentation is that UCL is developing a new model for library provision, geared to the strategic needs of the organisation, which is truly innovative for the 21st century.
