Abstract

The article focuses on the exploration of modular residential buildings as an innovative solution for providing comfortable living spaces for diverse population groups. In the context of continuous population growth, climate change, and rising energy costs, modular buildings have emerged as a promising alternative to conventional construction methods. These buildings offer the potential to significantly reduce construction timelines, optimize space utilization, and provide a high level of comfort for various demographic groups. Particular emphasis is placed on the energy efficiency of such buildings, especially through the integration of energy-saving technologies for heating. The incorporation of passive microclimate systems, alongside alternative energy sources like solar energy and geothermal systems, presents opportunities to drastically reduce energy consumption, enhance environmental sustainability, and decrease dependency on traditional energy sources. The research methodology involves examining the potential benefits of these technologies to ensure optimal living conditions, considering both energy and climate-related factors. The findings of this study could serve as a foundation for developing new standards for designing modular residential buildings that prioritize energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
