Abstract
Current challenges in purchasing arrangements for technology in the school sector are inhibiting good decision-making on EdTech quality and design. Taking more account of teacher perspectives on technology use would lead to a more robust evidence base, product designs better able to support equitable and high-quality teaching and improved teacher job satisfaction and retention.
