Abstract
Using the UK, more specifically England, as a case, this chapter explores the in-commensurability of a relational nature of care ethics in education policy contexts shaped by neoliberal ideology, namely the ‘politics’ of classification, metrics and standardisation as accountability technologies of New Public Management, performativity and commodification as well as increasing datafication and platformization of education.
