Abstract

(Abstracted from Hum Reprod 2024;39(3):509–515) Pregnancy of unknown location (PUL) refers to a positive pregnancy test that cannot be visualized on transvaginal ultrasound. No medical intervention should be initiated without a clear diagnosis in PUL, despite the term “pregnancy of unknown location” often being used synonymously with suspected ectopic pregnancy.
