Abstract
本文综合运用土壤微形态、粒度分析、植硅体研究等方法,重建了焦家遗址大汶口文化中晚期城墙与壕沟”兴建-使用-废弃”的完整过程。结果表明,焦家壕沟开挖于河漫滩相粉砂质沉积物上,先民使用开挖壕沟所得的沉积物修筑了第一期城墙。在壕沟使用期间,降水为沟内带来短期流水,土壤侵蚀堆积构成了壕沟内沉积物的主要来源。人类在壕沟附近的活动较为频繁,并利用清淤所得的沉积物修筑第二期城墙。最终,随着壕沟内侧聚落功能变化,先民逐步放松了对壕沟的管理,城墙壕沟先后废弃。在其主要使用阶段,城墙、壕沟客观上发挥着阻挡来水、聚落防御的功能,其社会意义亦不应忽视。
