Abstract
Daimon, not looking down is an invitation to correctly exercise the procedures of reason and to examine the knowledge and beliefs we possess, even the most solid. The figure of Socrates' Daimon is interpreted differently by Plutarch, Apuleius and Plotinus. This plurality and diversity of positions makes it possible to articulate a rational and responsible reflection on human life, both in an individual and social sense. The same argument is declined according to the reflections of various thinkers,
