Abstract

This data report summarises pond survey information gathered over the course of seven daytime visits (24/4/04, 25/4/04, 30/4/05, 1/5/05, 2/5/05 1/4/06 and 2/4/06) to Manor Farm, Melton Constable, North Norfolk. The primary reason for the surveys was to determine the location and number of ponds occupied by amphibians, specifically Great Crested Newts (Triturus cristatus). At the same time surveys of aquatic plants were also undertaken, general habitat notes recorded and Global Positioning System (GPS) locations ascertained for each pond.
