Abstract
The one day Doing It Together Science (DITOs) Pan-European Forum took place on 3rd April 2019 at the Institut royal des Sciences Naturelles de Belgique (RBINS) in Brussels. The forum was attended by 113 representatives across the following sectors: civil society organisations / charities; DIY science community groups; the European Commission (EC); the European Citizen Science Association (ECSA); Independent citizen scientists; media; museums and public facilities; research institutions and science innovation organisations. In total, 17 countries were represented. The event engaged policy makers and citizen science practitioners in the DITOs good practices (lessons learnt), presented the citizen science projects which will take forward the legacy of DITOs and sparked much debate about citizen science policy and funding.
