Re-formatting deposits
UCL Discovery has been offering a formatting service to UCL authors since early 2014. The template we apply provides a uniform appearance to deposits, an accurate citation including a link to the paper in UCL Discovery and, where possible, includes pagination markers to aid citation.

To be eligible for re-formatting, deposits must be:
- the author manuscript, i.e. not the final published version, and
- an appropriate file format, i.e. a format that readily allows files to be edited and saved in a different format.
UCL authors who wish to take advantage of the re-formatting service should upload their files in an appropriate format via RPS. File formats which meet our criteria include Word, OpenDocument files (ODT/ ODF), Plain text (txt), and Rich text format (RTF).
