Abstract
This article takes a close look at the Berlin "Colonial Exhibition" of 1933. It illustrates how the colonialist movement tried to accommodate its publicity campaign and its chief political project (the return of Germany's colonies, relinquished according to the terms of the 1919 Treaty of Versailles) to the new Nazi regime.
