Abstract

In this transcript of talk presented to the Westminster Education Forum on Reviewing the National Curriculum in March 2012, I make connections between knowledge for teaching; curriculum and assessment systems; increasing participation in mathematics post-16; and the kind of schooling that will prepare our children for their adult lives.
