Abstract
El presente informe resume las principales conclusiones del segundo taller de la Red Interamericana de Derechos Humanos, realizada en el Instituto de las Américas, de la University College London en octubre de 2015 . Las discusiones del taller examinaron los constantes desafíos que el desarrollo institucional del Sistema Interamericano de Derechos Humanos (SIDH) ha enfrentado desde su creación. Al mismo tiempo, los participantes destacaron la forma en que el SIDH se ha expandido a medida que las organizaciones de la sociedad civil (OSC) se han fortalecido, el incremento de su jurisprudencia y como el Sistema ha construido su legitimidad a través del tiempo. Aunque el proceso de reforma más reciente ha concluido, el SIDH sigue enfrentando una serie de desafíos, y tendrá que buscar adaptarse e innovarse institucionalmente para mantener su impacto en el futuro.
