Abstract

This study examines types of recasts used by clinicians during conversation-based intervention sessions with children with motor speech disorders who use SGDs. Relationships between recast type and child’s self-repair will be discussed, alongside examination of predictable patterns of overlap between recasting and children’s acquisition of specific linguistic structures.
