Abstract

William Deakins is a partner at Nicholas Burwell Associates, an architectural practice which has undertaken important architectural work in several libraries. Building on these experiences, the speaker will identify and illustrate principles of modern library design, showing how architecture can enhance the user experience and empower the library to deliver first-class services.
