Abstract

This transcript considers the origins and impact of the MRC Applied Psychology Unit’s work from 1944 to 1998. Psychologists, clinicians, and industrial, ergonomic and occupational psychologists discuss the evolution of work from quite narrow postwar industrial and military concerns to more recent applications in, for example, ageing, dyslexia, depression, form design, information and semantics.
