Abstract

This data shows the difference in the growth of Open Access journals compared to the average for all journals, extracted from data collected by Morrison (http://hdl.handle.net/1902.1/14446) detailing the growth of the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), and the estimate of 3.5% average growth from Ware and Mabe (www.stm-assoc.org/2009_10_13_MWC_STM_Report.pdf).
