Abstract
The first QCSE-tuned ridge waveguide InGaAsP MQW DBR laser monolithically integrated with QWintermixed tuning sections is demonstrated. QCSE is used for tuning with minimal thermal effects over similar to 7nm for < 2.5V applied voltage change.
