Abstract
En su obra “Permanence and Change” (1935), Kenneth Burke incluía una frase que se ha convertido en una recurrida expresión inglesa: “A way of seeing is also a way of not seeing” (p.70). De este modo sencillo y conciso, Burke explicaba cómo el mundo que nos rodea no sólo se compone de aquello que vemos y visibilizamos sino también de aquello que no visibilizamos, bien porque no lo vemos o bien porque no queremos verlo.
