Abstract
This reflection reviews the shifting landscape of both popular culture studies and Cultural Geography from the publication of Geography, the Media, and Popular Culture to today. The achievement of the volume is celebrated, even as it notes that those achievements were a starting point for innovation rather than a revolution in themselves.
