Abstract

This summary report presents key findings from research exploring the views of disadvantaged girls and their teachers in urban primary schools in Egypt on how the current curriculum, textbooks and teaching methods support their climate change and sustainability education. It focuses on girls’ knowledge, understanding and perspectives of climate change, their suggestions for improving teaching to better promote awareness and action and how prepared they feel to confront and engage with the climate crisis.
