Abstract

This report provides an analysis of Ukraine's energy sector policy, both short-term and long-term priorities, amidst Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The study provides an infrastructure stocktake and showcases the development of the renewable energy sector, discussing the operation of energy markets and the required reforms en route to EU accession. Finally, the report discusses the potential for green hydrogen, its long-term role and the regulatory environment necessary for the production and transmission of green hydrogen.
