Abstract
This article focuses on the latest trends in the development of military terminology in Ukraine, particularly in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war that began in 2014 and during the ongoing full-scale invasion. It examines the linguistic features involved in the formation of military terminology that has emerged due to the armed conflict, especially the neologisms related to weapons, military operations, technologies, and NATO standards. The article also highlights the emergence of terms that reflect the social and ecological consequences of the war. The study is grounded in an analysis of the terminological transformations caused by military events in the 20th and early 21st centuries, placing special emphasis on the unique linguistic shifts in military terminology that occur under contemporary armed conflict conditions.
