Abstract
Design researcher Andreas Körner begins by questioning whether design methods can be replicated, critically positioning his work against the techno-capitalist story of continuous improvement and refinement. He employs a hybrid approach of precision and accident in creating heat-driven encounters with ceramic objects, whose making goes against the solutionist approach to design.
