Abstract
On June 24, 2024, the Regional Futures Project hosted the ‘Digital Technologies for Land Administration’, Policy Round Table in BIEA. This was a one-day event devoted to bringing together land administration experts, professionals, policymakers, and stakeholders from Kenya and Africa. This document offers policy directions on integrating digital initiatives into government land administration systems based on principles and values that ensure efficient, democratic, inclusive, transparent, and accountable outcomes, especially to the poorest and most vulnerable citizens. These recommendations will inform ongoing and future research and practice on the role of digitalisation in land administration across metropolitan regions in East Africa and beyond.
