Abstract

In 2024 the government has appointed a panel of twelve people, chaired by Professor Becky Francis, former Director of UCL’s Institute of Education, to review curriculum and assessment arrangement for all school-aged children. As part of this review, there was an invitation to submit evidence to the panel about what is working well with the current arrangements and what needs to change. The UCL Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability Education submitted a response which you can find here and we look forward to further opportunities to engage with the review process in order to ensure that climate change and sustainability have a strong presence in a revised curriculum.
