Abstract

In human geography terms Tunisia is politically, economically and socially on the edge of Europe, Africa and the middle east. Its vulnerable location on the edge of a semi-arid region is another reason why it is relevant to A-level geographers. Edges can be interesting places - they tell us about themselves and also about the core environments to which they relate.
