Abstract
The report highlights how property lenders are adopting ESG practices and explores the challenges they are facing amidst greenwashing/green-hushing fears and a complex and dynamic regulatory environment. We present some of the recent regulatory and industry developments on the ESG. Further, we find property lenders need to better report their performance on a range of environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices and should discuss and implement their future strategy on the theme.
