Abstract
This report outlines the summary of the different approaches to mother-infant health presented in our workshop, followed by the common barriers to interdisciplinary working experienced by our participants. We also provide a ‘practical guide’ based on participant suggestions/ideas on how to tackle the challenges of interdisciplinary research. The workshop was funded by a grant from the European Human Behaviour and Evolution Association (http://ehbea.com/) and forms part of a wider project on 'Social support, maternal experience and infant feeding' (https://osf.io/dybup).
