Abstract

Presents a study into how decision-making for major renewable energy infrastructure projects under the Planning Act 2008 allows for the views of interested parties, such as local people, to be introduced into the proceedings. Reviews key aspects of decision-making under the Act, the methodology of the study, its main findings, and its recommendations for improving public participation, including the provision of enhanced funding.
