Abstract
This research considers the socioeconomic benefits that can be attributed to nursing and midwifery with respect to: mental health nursing, long-term conditions, and role substitution. IOE Research Briefings are short descriptions of significant research findings, based on the wide range of projects carried out by IOE researchers.
