Title: School drama, terror and television: lessons to be learnt from children’s activity in drama
Open access status: An open access version is available from UCL Discovery
Language: English
Additional information: Taking as a starting point the prevalence of the dramatized mediation of war and violence in contemporary culture, this paper analyzes, from cultural and critical perspectives on learning, the drama that school students make in response to mediated violence. The argument is that making drama allows students to formulate and develop thinking and sense of agency.
