Abstract
Have you ever read through your copy of Just4SBMs and stopped to think how the variety of articles reflects the school business manager’s role? I know. How silly. When do you have time to stop and think? But let’s suppose you had done just that. Information is provided for a wide range of resource management responsibilities, but there are also discussions about the levels at which bursars work, the impact of professional development and the struggle to raise awareness of business management in schools. Of these, perhaps the single most hotly debated area of discussion is the level at which bursars operate, so I thought I would share the results of our research in this area.
