Title: Effective Learning
Open access status: An open access version is available from UCL Discovery
Language: English
Additional information: This is a thoroughly revised version of an earlier research review, published in a Research Matters School Improvement series. The review uses recent research to define learning, effective learning, and the aspects of learning that teachers can consider in their classrooms. The authors viewed a constructivist and co-constructrivist form of learning as most effective in today's context, and drew on research to indicate those elements important for young people in classrooms and schools. The authors made individual and collaborative contributions, although the final text was prepared by Chris Watkins.
