The kinematics allowed the mean value of Q to be determined to about 9 keV. Evidence is found for the effects of higher partial waves for Q greater than or similar to 4 MeV. The very rapid rise of the total cross section to its maximum value within 0.5 MeV of threshold implies a very large eta He-3 scattering length and hence the presence of a quasibound state extremely close to threshold. date: 2007-06-15 publisher: AMERICAN PHYSICAL SOC official_url: http://dx.doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevLett.98.242301 vfaculties: VMPS oa_status: green language: eng primo: open primo_central: open_green article_type_text: Article verified: verified_batch elements_source: Web of Science elements_id: 208679 doi: 10.1103/PhysRevLett.98.242301 language_elements: EN lyricists_name: Wilkin, Colin lyricists_id: CWILK52 full_text_status: public publication: PHYS REV LETT volume: 98 number: 24 article_number: 242301 issn: 0031-9007 citation: Mersmann, T; Khoukaz, A; Buscher, M; Chiladze, D; Dymov, S; Hartmann, M; Hejny, V; ...
