%X Security experts agree that although unlikely, a nuclear terrorist attack is possible. Concerted efforts are needed in order to secure nuclear materials and nuclear weapons around the globe, particularly from ‘countries of concern’, in order to prevent their use by terrorist organisations. In this context, the US has a prime role to play as it may provide technical and logistical assistance to countries that are at risk of becoming the unwilling suppliers of fissile material to terrorist organisations. This article examines the possibilities of collaboration between the US and Pakistan in relation to the prevention of nuclear terrorism.
