title: Reflections on Korean history and its impacts on the US–North Korean conflict
ispublished: pub
divisions: J39
abstract: In the author’s view, nothing in the political behavior of Korean policy (North as well as South) can be understood without reflecting upon the experience of the Korean Peninsula and its people under the policy of the Great Powers. As expressed in the following pages, the author is of the opinion, that one of the main reasons of the radicalisation of the US – and North Korean – policy is the underestimation of the meaning of Korean history before and after its division.
