With the introduction of phase compensation, the circuit is able to operate at frequencies higher than the pole frequency of the output transconductor with minimum phase delay. Moreover, it isolates the poles required for stability from the high frequency characteristics of the output transconductor. The circuit has been simulated in a 0.35-μm CMOS technology and operates from ±2.5 V power supplies. Simulations show that for a 1 mAp-p output current, the phase delay is less than 1° for frequencies up to 3 MHz, rising to 1.5° at 5 MHz. Dual frequency currents to the load are demonstrated. date: 2016-01-01 date_type: published publisher: IEEE official_url: http://doi.org/10.1109/ISCAS.2016.7539087 oa_status: green full_text_type: other language: eng primo: open primo_central: open_green verified: verified_manual elements_id: 1201904 doi: 10.1109/ISCAS.2016.7539087 isbn_13: 97814799-53424 lyricists_name: Demosthenous, Andreas lyricists_name: Neshatvar, Nazanin lyricists_id: ACDEM08 lyricists_id: NESHA66 actors_name: Demosthenous, Andreas actors_name: Laslett, David actors_id: ACDEM08 actors_id: DLASL34 actors_role: owner actors_role: impersonator full_text_status: public series: IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems publication: 2016 IEEE INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON CIRCUITS AND SYSTEMS (ISCAS) pagerange: 2447-2450 pages: 4 event_title: 2016 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS) event_location: Montreal, Canada event_dates: 22 May 2016 - 25 May 2016 institution: IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS) isbn: 97814799-53417 issn: 0271-4302 book_title: 2016 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS) citation: Neshatvar, N; Langlois, P; Demosthenous, A; (2016) An Improved Wideband CMOS Current Driver for Bioimpedance Applications.
