This generates large amounts of highly redundant data, which need to be properly handled during encoding and transmission of the multi-view data. In this work, we study coding and transmission strategies in multicamera sets, where correlated sources need to be sent to a central server through a bottleneck channel, and eventually delivered to interactive clients. We propose a dynamic correlation-aware packet scheduling optimization under delay, bandwidth, and interactivity constraints. A novel trellis-based solution permits to formally decompose the multivariate optimization problem, thereby significantly reducing the computation complexity. Simulation results show the gain of the proposed algorithm compared to baseline scheduling policies. date: 2015-03-02 date_type: published publisher: IEEE official_url: http://dx.doi.org/10.1109/VCIP.2014.7051575 oa_status: green full_text_type: other language: eng primo: open primo_central: open_green verified: verified_manual elements_id: 1195901 doi: 10.1109/VCIP.2014.7051575 isbn_13: 9781479961399 lyricists_name: Toni, Laura lyricists_id: LTONI29 actors_name: Dewerpe, Marie actors_id: MDDEW97 actors_role: owner full_text_status: public pres_type: presentation publication: 2014 IEEE Visual Communications and Image Processing Conference, VCIP 2014 pagerange: 338-341 event_title: 2014 IEEE Visual Communications and Image Processing Conference event_location: Valletta, Malta event_dates: 07 December 2014 - 10 December 2014 book_title: Proceedings of the 2014 IEEE Visual Communications and Image Processing Conference citation: Toni, L; Maugey, T; Frossard, P; (2015) Packet scheduling in multicamera capture systems.
