Measures and actions taken by water stakeholders to tackle the water poverty issue are discussed and assessed, together with possible future solution methods. In the light of the success of global climate models to forecast future conditions and advances in integrated management tools, the suggestion here is the need for a global systems approach to help guide policy decisions. date: 2014-09-29 official_url: http://dx.doi.org/10.3390/w6102898 vfaculties: VMPS oa_status: green full_text_type: pub primo: open primo_central: open_green article_type_text: Article verified: verified_manual elements_source: Manually entered elements_id: 1025910 doi: 10.3390/w6102898 lyricists_name: Bishop, Steven lyricists_id: SRBIS03 full_text_status: public publication: Water volume: 6 number: 10 pagerange: 2898 - 2928 issn: 2073-4441 citation: Sofroniou, A; Bishop, S; (2014) Water Scarcity in Cyprus: A Review and Call for Integrated Policy.
