The QuIRC was developed from review of the international literature, an international Delphi exercise with over 400 service users, practitioners, carers and advocates from ten European countries at different stages of deinstitutionalisation, and review of the care standards in these countries. It can be completed in under an hour by the facility manager and has robust content validity, acceptability and inter-rater reliability. In this study, we investigated the internal validity of the QuIRC. Our aim was to identify the QuIRC domains of care that independently predicted better service user experiences of care. date: 2012-06-04 official_url: http://dx.doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0038070 vfaculties: VFBRS oa_status: green pmcid: PMC3366953 language: eng primo: open primo_central: open_green article_type_text: Journal Article, Research Support, Non-U.S. Gov't verified: verified_manual elements_source: PubMed elements_id: 414660 doi: 10.1371/journal.pone.0038070 pii: PONE-D-12-02024 lyricists_name: Killaspy, Helen lyricists_name: King, Michael lyricists_name: Salisbury, Tatiana lyricists_id: HTKIL41 lyricists_id: MBKIN92 lyricists_id: TTAYL30 full_text_status: public publication: PLoS One volume: 7 number: 6 article_number: e38070 pagerange: - event_location: United States issn: 1932-6203 citation: Killaspy, H; White, S; Wright, C; Taylor, TL; Turton, P; Kallert, T; Schuster, M; ...
