%V 91 %K B-DECAYS %N 26 %T Measurement of time-dependent CP-violating asymmetries in B-0 ->phi K-S(0), (K+K-KS0), and eta K-'(S)0 decays %D 2003 %X We present an improved measurement of CP-violation parameters in B-0-->phiK(S)(0), (K+K-KS0), and eta(')K(S)(0) decays based on a 140 fb(-1) data sample collected at the Y(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB energy-asymmetric e(+)e(-) collider. One neutral B meson is fully reconstructed in one of the specified decay channels, and the flavor of the accompanying B meson is identified from its decay products. CP-violation parameters for each of the three modes are obtained from the asymmetries in the distributions of the proper-time intervals between the two B decays. We find that the observed CP asymmetry in the B-->phiK(S)(0) decay differs from the standard model (SM) expectation by 3.5 standard deviations, while the other cases are consistent with the SM. %O © 2003 The American Physical Society %J PHYS REV LETT %A K Abe %A K Abe %A T Abe %A I Adachi %A H Aihara %A K Akai %A M Akatsu %A Y Asano %A T Aso %A T Aushev %A S Bahinipati %A AM Bakich %A Y Ban %A S Banerjee %A I Bedny %A I Bizjak %A A Bondar %A A Bozek %A M Bracko %A J Brodzicka %A TE Browder %A MC Chang %A P Chang %A Y Chao %A KF Chen %A BG Cheon %A R Chistov %A SK Choi %A Y Choi %A YK Choi %A A Chuvikov %A M Danilov %A LY Dong %A S Eidelman %A V Eiges %A Y Enari %A J Flanagan %A C Fukunaga %A K Furukawa %A N Gabyshev %A A Garmash %A T Gershon %A B Golob %A R Guo %A J Haba %A C Hagner %A K Hara %A T Hara %A NC Hastings %A H Hayashii %A M Hazumi %A I Higuchi %A T Higuchi %A T Hokuue %A Y Hoshi %A WS Hou %A YB Hsiung %A HC Huang %A Y Igarashi %A T Iijima %A H Ikeda %A K Inami %A A Ishikawa %A H Ishino %A R Itoh %A H Iwasaki %A M Iwasaki %A Y Iwasaki %A T Kamitani %A JH Kang %A JS Kang %A P Kapusta %A SU Kataoka %A N Katayama %A H Kawai %A H Kawai %A T Kawasaki %A H Kichimi %A M Kikuchi %A E Kikutani %A HJ Kim %A H Kim %A JH Kim %A SK Kim %A K Kinoshita %A H Koiso %A P Koppenburg %A S Korpar %A P Krizan %A P Krokovny %A S Kumar %A YJ Kwon %A JS Lange %A G Leder %A SH Lee %A T Lesiak %A J Li %A A Limosani %A SW Lin %A D Liventsev %A J MacNaughton %A F Mandl %A D Marlow %A M Masuzawa %A T Matsumoto %A A Matyja %A S Michizono %A T Mimashi %A W Mitaroff %A K Miyabayashi %A H Miyake %A H Miyata %A D Mohapatra %A T Mori %A A Murakami %A T Nagamine %A Y Nagasaka %A T Nakadaira %A TT Nakamura %A E Nakano %A M Nakao %A Z Natkaniec %A S Nishida %A O Nitoh %A T Nozaki %A S Ogawa %A Y Ogawa %A K Ohmi %A Y Ohnishi %A T Ohshima %A N Ohuchi %A K Oide %A T Okabe %A S Okuno %A SL Olsen %A Y Onuki %A W Ostrowicz %A H Ozaki %A P Pakhlov %A H Palka %A CW Park %A H Park %A M Peters %A LE Piilonen %A N Root %A M Rozanska %A H Sagawa %A S Saitoh %A Y Sakai %A M Satapathy %A A Satpathy %A O Schneider %A J Schumann %A C Schwanda %A AJ Schwartz %A S Semenov %A K Senyo %A ME Sevior %A T Shibata %A H Shibuya %A T Shidara %A B Shwartz %A V Sidorov %A JB Singh %A N Soni %A S Stanic %A R Sugahara %A A Sugi %A T Sugimura %A A Sugiyama %A K Sumisawa %A T Sumiyoshi %A K Suzuki %A S Suzuki %A SY Suzuki %A F Takasaki %A N Tamura %A J Tanaka %A M Tanaka %A M Tawada %A Y Teramoto %A T Tomura %A K Trabelsi %A T Tsuboyama %A T Tsukamoto %A S Uehara %A K Ueno %A Y Unno %A S Uno %A Y Ushiroda %A SE Vahsen %A G Varner %A KE Varvell %A CC Wang %A CH Wang %A JG Wang %A MZ Wang %A Y Watanabe %A E Won %A BD Yabsley %A Y Yamada %A A Yamaguchi %A H Yamamoto %A N Yamamoto %A Y Yamashita %A M Yamauchi %A H Yanai %A H Yang %A J Ying %A M Yokoyama %A M Yoshida %A Y Yuan %A Y Yusa %A CC Zhang %A J Zhang %A ZP Zhang %A Y Zheng %A V Zhilich %A D Zontar %A D Zurcher %A Belle Collaboration %L discovery1308412 %I AMERICAN PHYSICAL SOC
