The results have been analysed to determine how the effect of building shape varies depending on the climate. Furthermore, the study defines a set of shape parameters that could be useful to determine the relationship between the shape and the key energy loads of buildings: lighting, heating and cooling. date: 2014-06-11 date_type: published publisher: International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA) official_url: https://publications.ibpsa.org/conference/?id=bso2014 oa_status: green full_text_type: pub language: eng primo: open primo_central: open_green verified: verified_manual elements_id: 1959670 lyricists_name: Korolija, Ivan lyricists_id: IKORO75 actors_name: Korolija, Ivan actors_id: IKORO75 actors_role: owner full_text_status: public pres_type: paper series: Building Simulation and Optimization Conference volume: 2 place_of_pub: London,UK event_title: Building Simulation and Optimization Conference, BSO 2014 event_location: London, UK book_title: Proceedings of the 2nd IBPSA-England Conference, BSO 2014 citation: Ordonez, Arturo; Carreras, Joan; Korolija, Ivan; Zhang, Yi; Coronas, Alberto; (2014) Impact of building geometry on its energy performance depending on climate zones.
