In particular, the aim is to see if local pragmatic enrichment could be a shared mechanism, involved in both. The two experiments presented adopt Bott & Chemla's (2016) enrichment priming paradigm and test whether unembedded and embedded enrichments could prime each other. The goal is to investigate whether local pragmatic enrichment is indeed being accessed for the interpretation of the unembedded scalar and whether local enrichments, like other lexical semantic phenomena, are susceptible to priming. date: 2019-05-17 date_type: published publisher: Leibniz-Centre General Linguistics (ZAS) official_url: https://ojs.ub.uni-konstanz.de/sub/index.php/sub/article/view/115 oa_status: green full_text_type: pub language: eng primo: open primo_central: open_green verified: verified_manual elements_id: 1722855 isbn_13: 978-1722837730 lyricists_name: Breheny, Richard lyricists_name: Sun, Chao lyricists_id: REBRE10 lyricists_id: SUNXX12 actors_name: Breheny, Richard actors_id: REBRE10 actors_role: owner full_text_status: public publication: Proceedings of Sinn und Bedeutung 22 volume: 22 number: 2 place_of_pub: Berlin, Germany pagerange: 425-441 pages: 16 book_title: Proceedings of Sinn und Bedeutung 22 editors_name: Sauerland, U editors_name: Solt, S citation: Sun, C; Breheny, R; (2019) Shared mechanism underlying unembedded and embedded enrichments: Evidence from enrichment priming.
