One hundred eighty-five of 824 neonates (22.5%) and 9/786 children (1.1%) received a World Health Organization-recommended first-line treatment; of the remainder, 9/639 neonates (1.4%) and 102/777 children (13.1%) received a World Health Organization-recommended second-line treatment. Reasons for this low adherence to guidance should be explored. date: 2019-11 date_type: published publisher: Ovid Technologies (Wolters Kluwer Health) official_url: https://doi.org/10.1097/inf.0000000000002433 oa_status: green full_text_type: other language: eng primo: open primo_central: open_green verified: verified_manual elements_id: 1684372 doi: 10.1097/inf.0000000000002433 lyricists_name: Jackson, Charlotte lyricists_id: CJACK20 actors_name: Austen, Jennifer actors_id: JAUST66 actors_role: owner full_text_status: public publication: The Pediatric Infectious Disease Journal volume: 38 number: 11 pagerange: 1104-1106 issn: 0891-3668 citation: Jackson, C; Hsia, Y; Basmaci, R; Bielicki, J; Heath, PT; Versporten, A; Goossens, H; Jackson, C; Hsia, Y; Basmaci, R; Bielicki, J; Heath, PT; Versporten, A; Goossens, H; Sharland, M; - view fewer <#> (2019) Global Divergence From World Health Organization Treatment Guidelines for Neonatal and Pediatric Sepsis.
