Data were collected by qualitative and quantitative methods and included 35 case studies of schools and a questionnaire survey with an achieved sample of 1612 senior staff, teachers and support staff from over 600 schools. In terms of significance, we were invited to present the research findings to three strategic groups within the TDA as well as at conference presentations and in the TDA journals, Professional Teacher and Bitesize research.
