Abstract

Rate coefficients are calculated for the formation of O(II) lines by recombination. Photoionization data from the Opacity Project are used to calculate recombination coefficients for principal quantum numbers, n less-than-or-equal-to 10, including radiative and dielectronic recombination. Cascading from higher states is included, allowing for the effects of finite electron density in a hydrogenic approximation.
