Abstract

A simple but powerful method of removing stimulation artefact from voluntary electromyogram (EMG) is presented. By using a fast digital signal processor the underling voluntary EMG from stimulated muscle can be extracted in real time. This is then processed to form a control signal to effect the stimulation amplitude.
